Portrait of Danish writer Karen Blixen Museet (1885-1962), who is also known under her pen name, Isak Dineson and her title, Baroness Blixen. Her first major success was ‘Seven Gothic Tales’ , but it was ‘Out of Africa’ which was published in 1937, which gained her worldwide recognition when it was adapted into the successful 1985 film.
